Making the connection between your feet and your low back pain

Over the weekend, I attended a seminar sponsored by Foot Levelers.  This seminar featured a lecimagesCAIWV5O4_1.jpgture on digital imaging of the feet.  Did you know that during regular walking, there are 5 G's of force that hit our heel with every step we take? That is a pretty significant amount of force, and that's just with walking.  Also realize that when the force hits our heels, it doesn't stop there.  It sends shock waves across our feet to the toes and up into the ankles, knees, hips, lower back and to the upper body.  As a result, you start to feel pain in your back.  By correcting the instability of your feet, you can dramatically decrease low back pain.

Next time when you come in for your spine checkup, ask me for a free examination of your feet!
